Why SID School?
SID School is the first step towards a successful future for bright, young Indigenous minds. In partnership with the Queensland University of Technology’s (QUT) Oodgeroo Unit, and WSP—one of the world’s leading engineering professional services consulting firms—SID School residential camp is the perfect place for students in years 10, 11 and 12 to explore their post-school options.
The Oodgeroo Unit is the centre of QUT’s activities in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander education, studies and research. It’s committed to developing better access to university education and higher rates of participation for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
As part of our vision for reconciliation, WSP exists to create equitable, inclusive and sustainable societies for today and future generations.
